Weird question? Maybe a pretty dumb question, because I think by now every woman and some/maybe all men have watched at least one season of this tv series. Im not going to lie, I was pretty skeptical to watch it at first, I’m more of a fan of the crime and investigation tv shows, but after finishing all the seasons of all the series I could think of, I decided to give this one a try. So I did it, and after watching the first episode of it, I just couldn’t helped thinking, “what the f**** did I just watch”….? after that episode, it began the lazy weekends at home or after work watching what it seemed to me the most weirdest yet interesting tv show , also controversial and disturbing in all the ways possible.
This tv show , teaches a lesson to all of us!! How important and powerful words can be, how the acts of humanity can affect the planet and how easy societies can change and end ! It teaches how society looked at women not too long ago , when we didn’t have freedom, when we were to able (allowed) to have a job, when we were just the shadow of a man, but in a twisted sicker way. This tv show diminishes women, kills them in the most gruesome ways possible, tortures them and yet after watching all that, I could not be more proud of being a woman, because even after all that , they keep fighting!!
If you were hesitating about watching The Handmaid’s Tale , I recommend you to watch it , you will be surprised and will learn a lot from it!!
