When it comes to dining out or staying at home, my husband is always picking the second choice, but I am a explorer at heart and I’ll take any chance that I get to be out of our house . As a couple with kids, we don’t have all the time in the world to talk, interact and spend time with each other, we have to take advantage of every little chance that we get and that is why I’m always insisting on trying new food/places for our lunch/dinner dates!

Save this for your next spot on your date day/night, if you live in Iowa or passing through it, I recommend you to stop and try Dublin Bay Irish Pub and Grill , if you love Irish traditional food, music, folklore and culture, then you will enjoy this place as much as we did.
They have a variety of plates, starting from appetizers and finishing with alcoholic beverages . My husband and I are bread lovers, so we couldn’t passed the opportunity to try their homemade Irish bread with artisan honey butter. (Insert chef’s kiss emoji) The strawberry lemonade was delicious, and the main dishes were filling and tasted amazing.
I asked for the traditional shepherd‘s pie and my husband asked for the sirloin steak sandwich , but the ones that took the price home were the desserts, I got the delicious bread pudding and my husband got the peanut butter landslide.
Everything was perfect, the food was delicious, the service was amazing and the ambient was peaceful, full of Irish melodies and music.
I would love to go back there and try more traditional Irish plates.
